Kenya Dominates ADC Africa Qualifiers Semi-finals After Quarter-Final Wins
Wachiuri heads into the semi-finals with added pedigree, having become the first African player to reach a weekly final on the Modus Super Series in the United Kingdom. He will be aiming to continue that form as he seeks a place in the ADC Africa Qualifiers final.

Kenya’s Vincent Kimutai advanced to the semi-finals of the ADC Africa Qualifiers in Nakuru, Kenya after edging Uganda’s Okalany 6-5 in a closely contested quarter-final at the Jacaranda Show Ground.
Kimutai, one of the tournament’s emerging Gen Z talents, will now face compatriot Peter Wachiuri for a place in the final. Wachiuri booked his semi-final berth with a commanding 6-1 victory over Wycliffe Omariba in the last eight.
The other semi-final will pit Benson Ngari against Pascal Wanjala after Ngari defeated Wanjala 6-4 in their all-Kenyan quarter-final. Patrick Ocheng of Uganda also progressed after overcoming Kenya’s Charles Njuguna 6-5 in another tightly fought contest.

The tournament has attracted leading darts players from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi and other African countries, with the remaining contenders now just two wins away from securing a place in international competition.
