Nakuru is preparing for one of the most anticipated women’s gatherings of the year as Prophetess Monica Nyambura brings the Refined Woman High Tea to Waterbuck Hotel on March 28, 2026.
The day-long forum will run from 8am to 5pm and is already drawing strong interest from churches, professionals and business leaders across the county and beyond.
Tickets are priced at Sh4,000, covering breakfast and a four-course buffet lunch. Organisers say the experience goes far beyond a social event. It is positioned as a movement.
“This is something God placed in my heart after deep reflection and prayer. Nakuru showed love, seriousness and readiness. That is why we are here,” Prophetess Monica said during a press briefing in the city.
She described the forum as a response to a difficult chapter in her ministry, including the demolition of her church. That season, she said, birthed a new assignment focused on empowering women.

The forum will bring together medical professionals to speak on health and wellness, financial institutions to guide women on investment and savings, and Bishop Margaret Wanjiru to minister on spiritual growth.
Prophetess Monica said the goal is total empowerment. A woman, she noted, should leave spiritually renewed, financially equipped, emotionally steady and socially connected.
She urged women in business, ministry, politics and corporate spaces to attend and network, saying social capital is wealth and encouraging participants to carry their business cards.
The dress code is purple and pink, symbolising royalty and celebration. A prize will be awarded to the best-dressed attendee, adding a touch of elegance to the gathering.
Mrs Nancy Muna, director of Vicmark Hotel, welcomed the initiative, describing Nakuru as ready for large-scale, impactful events. Women pastors in the county have pledged to mobilise congregants in large numbers.
Mr Jackson Muriuki, the ex-UK Bicycles director, expressed confidence that the city will turn out strongly. He urged women from all walks of life to attend, network and position themselves for growth.
“This is going to be the beginning of something bigger in our nation,” he said, while calling it as ‘a date with purpose.’
With interest reportedly coming from the United Kingdom and the United States, the Nakuru edition is shaping up as a defining chapter in the growing Refined Woman Movement.
