A family in Oljororok, Nyandarua County, is pleading with the public for help in locating their missing son, Antony Kamau Macharia, who vanished without a trace nearly a month ago.
Antony, described by loved ones as a kind, humble and dependable young man, was last seen on the morning of June 29, 2025, in Oljororok town. Since then, all efforts to trace his whereabouts have led to dead ends, leaving his family in anguish and desperate for answers.
“We just want to know he is safe. Even the smallest bit of information can help us bring our son home,” said a visibly distressed family member during an emotional appeal.
According to those close to him, Antony left home without any indication of distress or unusual behavior. He neither carried his phone nor mentioned any travel plans. His sudden disappearance has sparked concern not just within his family, but also across the wider community who have joined in the search.
The family has reported the matter to local authorities and continues to work closely with police and well-wishers, distributing posters and conducting searches in surrounding areas. However, they are now turning to the public for help, believing that someone, somewhere, may have seen or heard something that could lead to his safe return.
“We are holding onto hope and praying someone will come forward,” the family added.
Antony was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, dark jeans and sneakers. He is of medium height, slender build, and speaks fluent Kikuyu, Kiswahili and English.
The family is urging anyone with any information, no matter how minor it may seem, to come forward and assist in locating him.
