Car Soko brand ambassador Goliath wa Bungoma was on Sunday involved in a road traffic accident in Ruaka and is recovering in a Nairobi hospital.
Police say he was struck by a car that was driving on the wrong side of the road, leaving him with injuries that required immediate medical attention.
In a public notice, Car Soko management confirmed the incident, stating that the ambassador sustained an injury to his right leg but is in stable condition.
The company indicated that medical teams are monitoring his progress as he continues to receive treatment.
The dealership expressed confidence in his recovery, noting that his condition had improved since admission.
“We are pleased to confirm that his condition is stable, and we remain optimistic about his full recovery,” Patrick Riang’a said.
Management also appealed to the public to respect his privacy during the recovery period and to keep him in their thoughts, adding that updates would be issued when appropriate.
The accident has renewed concerns over road safety violations, particularly cases involving motorists driving on the wrong side of the road.
