The Bondeni Police Station in Nakuru Town East sub-County will this Saturday host its annual end-year party.

According to Officer Commanding Station, Meshach Mwangangi, the event is intended to recognize the dedication and cooperation of officers over the past year, while also marking the start of 2026.

The event will bring together officers attached to the station, their families, and community members for reflection and appreciation after a demanding year of operations.

The station has also appealed for support from well-wishers to help facilitate the annual event, including food and other basic supplies.

“We also receive over 100 street children and would wish to feed them during the event,” Chief Inspector Mwangangi noted in a letter sent out to well-wishers.

The annual party has become a tradition at the station, serving both as a morale booster for officers and a platform for community support initiatives.

Those willing to support the initiative through cash, in-kind or foodstuff donations are requested to deposit them at the OCS’s office at the station.

The station serves the low-income neighborhoods of Bondeni, Kivumbini, Manyani, Ziwani among other areas that are often characterized by petty crimes.
