The County Government of Nakuru will prioritize the completion of ongoing projects and the delivery of campaign pledges in 2026, Governor Susan Kihika has said.

In her New Year message, the Governor thanked residents for their support and public participation, saying feedback from wananchi had helped shape County programmes and kept the administration focused on practical needs.

Kihika said her administration would concentrate on ensuring that investments made in key sectors translate into tangible benefits at household level.

“Our focus remains on completing what we started, addressing challenges as they arise, and ensuring that progress is felt in practical ways in the daily lives of our people,” she said.

Over the past few years, the county has invested heavily in health services, road infrastructure, agriculture and water projects, areas the governor said remain central to improving livelihoods.

She also extended New Year wishes to residents, calling for unity, stability and renewed hope as the county enters 2026.
