Renown Nakuru businessman, philanthropist and politician Maina Wakabura is mourning the death of his sister-in-law, who passed away earlier today.

Announcing the loss, Wakabura described Lilian Kinyua as a cherished member of the family whose death came too soon. She was wife to Ken Mwangi and mother to Sammy and Micthell.

“She was a sister by heart. Her kindness and gentle spirit brought light into our lives,” he said in an emotional post on his official Facebook page.

He added that her presence strengthened the family and made it more complete.

The aspiring Nakuru Town East MP said the impact of her life would live on through shared memories; lessons and the love she gave to those around her.

Though her time with the family felt painfully short, Wakabura said she would forever remain in their hearts.

“As we grieve, we also give thanks for the gift of her life,” he stated.
