The 2027 Nakuru Town East parliamentary seat frontrunner Maina Wakabura has shared his development blueprint with residents of Kambi Somali, Abong, Kanyon and Machanga in Biashara Ward.

The businessman and philanthropist said the ideas outline the priorities he plans to pursue with residents and reflect the shared goals shaping his vision for the central business district and low-income areas.

He said the engagement gave him a chance to explain his vision, outline key areas of focus and listen to the community’s expectations. He described the conversations as honest and energizing.

“We spent time talking through our vision, our priorities and the plans we believe can transform our constituency. Being with my people reminded me how powerful unity and open dialogue can be,” he said.

He told residents that their warm reception strengthened his resolve to advance his agenda and deepened his commitment to working with them on key priorities such as roads, electricity, education and security.

While thanking residents for their feedback, Wakabura said development relies on collective effort and reaffirming his commitment to building a constituency where every family feels supported.

“I really appreciate your attentiveness and the enthusiasm you showed. It has given me renewed strength and confidence in the journey ahead,” he said.

He urged residents to stay engaged, noting that progress comes from shared responsibility and reminding them the journey toward improving the constituency belongs to those working together.
