After launching Wa-Morgan Chap Chap Mega earlier this year, Nakuru’s fast-growing clothing outlet is now set to open another shop on Thursday, December 18.

The new outlet, Wa-Morgan Corner Shop, aims to shake up the beauty and fashion market in Nakuru City and the surrounding areas. It will be located at the former Stagematt Corner on Mburu Gichua Road, near Nasher Market, and will stock beauty products and shoes.

Wa-Morgan Wholesalers Ltd director, Wilfred Njoroge, thanked Nakuru residents for the strong support shown since the opening of the first mega shop on June 27.

“We will be opening this shop next week, and being the month of love and charity, we will join the less fortunate and forgotten in society to support them,” he said during an inspection tour of the new premises.

He also thanked his wife and co-director, Rosemary Wanjiru, for her steady support in running their businesses in Nakuru, Eldoret and Kakamega.

Wanjiru, popularly known as Wa-Morgan, appreciated her husband for teaching her business management skills, saying they have helped the business grow. She invited the public to the grand opening, calling it a moment to celebrate God’s faithfulness and the milestone achieved.

She added that applicants who missed out on job opportunities in June will be given first priority this time.

“In all our shops in Nakuru, Eldoret and Kakamega, we employ locals only. We don’t consider education level or age,” she said, noting that the business has so far employed more than 300 people.

Wanjiru echoed her husband’s plan to mark the opening day with charity activities aimed at supporting vulnerable groups. She said the gesture will be a surprise to the beneficiaries and to Nakuru residents.

Nakuru Young Investors chairman, Jack, who also runs CJ EX-UK Bicycle, congratulated the couple for their investment in the city and for raising the bar in the local fashion industry.
