Kikuyu benga maestro Samidoh, whose full name is Samuel Ndirangu Muchoki, has released his full December performance schedule, confirming a packed festive season that will see him on the road almost every day.

The line-up, shared by Samidoh Entertainment, stretches from early December to the first week of January and covers nearly every major entertainment hub across central Kenya, Nairobi, Rift Valley and Mount Kenya.

His run begins on December 4 with a private event, followed by a show on December 5 at The Mark, Ruiru Bypass. He then heads to Eden Park in Gikambura on December 6, before a double outing on December 7 at Kavagara Fest in Embu Stadium and The Tide in Kiambu Town.

Ruiru, one of his strongest fan bases, features again on December 10 at OJ HQ. On December 11, he performs at The Anchor Address in Marurui, then moves to Gawanaz Grill in Nanyuki on December 12. Embu follows on December 13 with a show at The Mavvel, before he returns to Nairobi for SNL Githurai 44 on December 14.

The mid-month stretch is equally heavy. On December 18 he performs at Triple X in Kasarani, then O Touch in Mwea on December 19. December 20 takes him to New Sarvid Gardens along Kiambu Road, while December 21 sees him entertain fans at Kikuyu Gardens.

After a short break, he returns for the Christmas week: Christmas Eve at Leiyan Grill in Naivasha and Christmas Day at Solana Junction Lounge in Nyahururu. He heads to Engineer on Boxing Day for a show at Zero 18 Lounge & Grill, before performing at Members Grill in Molo on December 27 and Summer Bunnies Fest at Derby Place in Karatina on December 28.

The final stretch of the year and the start of 2026 is no lighter. On December 29 he appears at The Ox Bypass, followed by a private party on December 30. He will usher in the New Year on December 31 at Nokras Riverine Hotel in Sagana. New Year’s Day takes him to Jam Rescue on Jogoo Road, before moving to 3D Lounge in Githurai on January 2, Sumo Lounge in Uthiru on January 3, and Quiver in Kenol on January 4.

The tightly packed itinerary underscores just how in-demand Samidoh has become, especially after he exited the National Police Service earlier this year. For years, he juggled his police uniform with his Mugithi career, often dashing from duty posts to late-night shows before reporting back the next morning. His decision to leave the service has now freed him to tour more widely, honour more bookings and fully embrace his role as one of the country’s most prominent live performers.

Samidoh rose to national fame through a blend of traditional Mugithi rhythms and contemporary storytelling, with hits like Wendo Maguta, Riari Ithugui and Ihoya Rĩu. His art has earned him strong followings not only in central Kenya but also among the diaspora, where he has headlined tours in the United States, Europe and the Gulf. Promoters say his availability has improved dramatically since leaving the force, leading to the kind of fully booked festive schedule that reflects his dominance in the Mugithi and Kikuyu benga space.

With December now firmly sealed and early January accounted for, his team hints that 2026 may be even busier, with new music, international dates and collaborations in the works. For now, fans across the regions will have no shortage of chances to catch him live as he closes the year with his trademark humour, storytelling and high-energy performance style.
