Police have launched a probe into reports of a suspected mass grave in Kericho County, with officers securing Makaburini Cemetery as investigations begin into the credibility of the discovery.
The National Police Service said officers were deployed promptly after the report, securing the site to preserve the integrity of potential evidence and prevent any possible interference.
Authorities indicated that the investigation remains at a preliminary stage, with detectives working to establish the veracity of the claims before confirming the existence of any mass grave.
