Gor Mahia Football Club has signed a strategic partnership with Plascon Paints, making the company a corporate sponsor for the 2026 season.
The deal was signed today during a ceremony attended by club and company officials.
Gor Mahia FC Patron Eliud Owalo described the partnership as a major milestone for the club. He said Plascon Paints, formerly Sadolin Paints, had aligned itself with one of Kenya’s most historic, recognisable, and successful sporting brands.
Owalo said the partnership would deliver mutual value. He noted that it would boost brand visibility and support sustainable growth for both sides.
He called on the private sector to invest more in community-based football clubs. Owalo said strong and well-managed community teams are the foundation of Kenya’s football future. He added that such investments are key to nurturing talent and strengthening the Harambee Stars.
Owalo said Gor Mahia FC is working towards becoming the biggest and most successful football institution in Africa. He said the club will continue to attract more corporate partners in the new year.
He added that Gor Mahia is transitioning into a fully fledged corporate entity guided by strong corporate governance. According to Owalo, the reforms will support long-term partnerships and priority projects, including plans to build a modern Gor Mahia FC stadium.
Plascon Paints CEO Kota Enami said the company was keen to partner with an organisation that shares its values. He cited ethics, discipline, and commitment to excellence, describing Gor Mahia FC as a natural fit.
The event was attended by Gor Mahia FC Chairman Ambrose Rachier, Secretary General Nick Arum, Treasurer Gerphas Okuku, and members of the technical bench led by head coach Charles Ajannor. Players were also present.
Plascon Paints was represented by CEO Kota Enami, Marketing Manager Kunal Biswas, Head of Human Resources Bernard Ogango, and other senior officials.
