Cyprus Park in Nakuru’s industrial area is cementing its status as the region’s premier entertainment hub, attracting large crowds seeking affordable, family-focused recreation during weekends and holidays.
Positioned along Stanley Mathenge Road, opposite Reliable Concrete and adjacent to the Kenya Forest Service regional headquarters, the facility benefits from prime visibility and convenient access.
The park continues to stand out as a top choice for families, with surging attendance during Christmas, Eid and public holidays as visitors seek vibrant spaces for relaxation.
Today, hundreds of families flocked to the facility immediately after Eid Ul Fitr prayers, reinforcing its growing reputation as a preferred destination for memorable celebrations.
Manager Humphrey Wekuro said the park’s appeal lies in its diverse mix of indoor and outdoor attractions designed to cater to children, youth and adults alike.
“This is the only place you can get all known games under one roof,” he said, adding that a fee of 1,500 shillings grants access to a full experience.
In addition to gaming, the facility offers conferencing spaces, alongside a range of food and beverage options, making it suitable for leisure and small events.
Long-time visitor Hussein Ali described Cyprus Park as dependable and enjoyable, noting he has visited with his two wives and seven children for four consecutive years.
He said the park’s non-alcoholic setting makes it especially appealing to both Muslim and Christian families, fostering an inclusive and comfortable entertainment environment.
Operating daily from 8am to 8pm, the park provides flexible access while also supporting local livelihoods through jobs in photography and event-related services.
Photographer Hillary Fletcher said the steady influx of visitors has created reliable income opportunities, commending the management for empowering youth within Nakuru’s leisure sector.
