At least 40 exhibitors have already registered for the 2025 Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) – Nakuru National Show, set to take place from July 2 to 6 at the Nakuru ASK Showground. Organizers anticipate a significant increase in registrations as the event draws closer, following last year’s impressive turnout of 120 exhibitors.

David Mwangi, chairman of the show’s marketing sub-committee, explained that many exhibitors, particularly those showcasing non-crop products, often register closer to the event due to shorter preparation times.

“Our stakeholder and exhibitor briefing dinner on June 20 will clarify exhibitor numbers and align key participants, ensuring a successful Nakuru National Show,” said David Mwangi, the Nakuru ASK Show marketing sub-committee chairman.

Among the confirmed participants are new exhibitors, including Githunguri Dairies (makers of Fresha Milk), Salim Wazaran Kenya Company (producers of Indomie), and Wanna Machinery and Equipment (K) Ltd.

Mwangi noted that additional new exhibitors are expected to participate, further enhancing the regional agricultural and trade fair’s dynamic display of agricultural innovation and enterprise, celebrated for its diversity and significant impact on the region’s economic growth.

The Nakuru National Show, themed “Promoting Climate-Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth,” will feature cutting-edge technologies and innovations aimed at boosting productivity and climate resilience.

The five-day event is a key platform for farmers, traders, and policymakers across the Rift Valley, drawing thousands of visitors from Nakuru and neighboring counties, including Kericho, Nyandarua, Baringo, Laikipia, Narok, and Bomet.

Leading up to the show, the branch has also planned a media briefing on June 16 and a 7-kilometer publicity walk on June 18. The walk will be followed by a charitable initiative to distribute food and non-food items to children’s homes, with Bahati MP Irene Njoki as the guest of honor.

Exhibition bookings remain open until July 1. Interested participants can register via the ASK website at www.ask.co.ke or contact the Nakuru Branch at nakuru@ask.co.ke or 0722 339 457. The public is encouraged to stay updated through ASK’s social media platforms—Facebook and YouTube (Agricultural Society of Kenya), Twitter (@AgriSocietyofKe), using the hashtag #TukutaneNakuruShow.
